INFORMATION
-Norco chose monocoque as its VPS main structure years ago as it allows creative structures to be built that offer the best combination of function and strength. Monocoque offers the greatest amount of contact area at the head tube, offers the largest surface area to dissipate stress and offers low stand-over clearance.
-New link plates offer more travel with a decreased leverage ratio and more adjustability. This equates to 5.5" of the plushest travel to date with an option of 4" of travel.
-New Marzocchi Z-1 QR 20+ forks offer more adjustment options for a custom ride. QR 20+ offers yet more stiffness to the front end and with 130 mm of Marzocchi travel is ready to take on the biggest of hits.
-Grimeca System 8 brakes offer four-piston stopping power in a low-profile package. Two pistons actuate first to stabilize the rotor and provide moderate braking. As you press the lever more, the second set of larger, more powerful pistons seamlessly engage providing incredible one finger stopping power. With coated steel braided lines, The System 8 is the newest addition to the line of Shore approved parts.
-Race Face Prodigy splined cranks and B/B are even more stiff and efficient with an increased contact area. Rounding out the drive train duties, a Shimano XT rear derailleur ensures crisp reliable shifts.
-Vuelta X-Caliber 27mm wide rims have a special bead that dramatically reduces the chances of pinch-flatting and are designed to accommodate the wide 2.4" WTB Motoraptor tires.
